# Dropon

> Dropon is a Ghent-based SaaS delivery management platform that helps companies plan, optimize, and monitor last-mile routes. It combines route optimization, real-time tracking, automated customer notifications, and a driver app — billed per delivery rather than per seat.

Dropon began in 2012 as the in-house routing tool for Bubble Post, an ecological courier service in Ghent. After Bpost acquired Bubble Post in 2017, founders Anthony Viaene and Jonathan Carette spun the software out as a standalone product. In 2025, StarApps (Lorenz Bogaert and Nicolas Van Eenaeme) joined as a shareholder to support international expansion, starting with the Netherlands. The platform serves customers across groceries, packages, furniture, foodservice, pharma, and field services, with integrations for Google Sheets, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Zapier, n8n, and any ERP through a documented JSON API.
